High Fructose Corn Syrup

I was talking to a friend this morning about the many evils of HFCS. But it turns out that I really don't have a clue. More than anything, it appears that HFCS is used in an incredibly wide variety of foods thereby increasing our consumption of sugars on the sly. After watching the movie King Corn, I've avoided it.

If you want to learn more, you could start with an article by Marion Nestle in the San Francisco Chronicle titled The facts about corn sweetener.

Is it a joke, or just ironic, that the author of the article is someone last-name-o'Nestle?
