Almond Butter Balls
This is a highly flexible and highly tasty recipe. The prep takes about 10 minutes.
1/2 cup almond butter
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup powdered milk
2 tablespoons wheat germ (optional)
1 tablespoon flax oil (optional)
2/3 cup crispy rice cereal
Mix all ingredients except rice cereal in medium bowl. Add cereal and mix some more.
Form mixture into balls with hands.
These can be eaten immediately or kept in the freezer for up to three months. Try to freeze balls on a level surface with some space inbetween them so they don't freeze together. Store in an airtight container.
Makes approx. 30 1 inch balls.
